Laws of Secular Paganism

Four Pillars:
"Spread your gods, spread your law, spread your sword, spread your children."

Secular Paganism is not a religion; it is a legal system that preserves paganism, yet it is an agnostic, non-religious state that protects and even promotes blasphemy, including of pagan gods. Secular Paganism is not about making you believe in something but about making you follow laws that prohibit certain kinds of expressed thinking and actions in order to prevent the replacement of ethical polytheism with monotheism. The reason why someone would fight and die for Secular Paganism is because they have an intense faith in many gods (or none) and see the rational and real need to protect them. Each Secular Pagan fights to protect their own set of deities and to spread their worship, uniting with other pagans to do so because it is logical. This is the essence of pagan natural law—laws that can be deduced without revelation or written scripture. We do not need monotheism to outlaw murder and theft; these are natural laws and were followed by pagan societies. It is natural law for pagans to unite to protect their common interest of maintaining polytheism. A second reason to fight is a moral conviction against the corrosive effects of monotheism, which creates a single ideological and ethical culture that strangles the moral diversity needed for growth—a diversity of ethics that still adheres to natural principles. Secular Paganism is an agreement among pagans to seven categories of laws, naturally derived, which are crafted to protect and promote polytheism while permitting agnosticism and atheism. These laws are followed not because they are revealed by the gods but because they are rational concepts that can be derived by human intelligence and human ethics.

The 7 Categories of Laws

1. No monotheism, bitheism, or soft polytheism (shituf).

2. No laws prohibiting blasphemy or cults promoting the outlawing of blasphemy.

3. No legal regulation of consensual sex between adult humans, but maintain a high birth rate (at least double your numbers every generation).

4.No one may murder anyone.

5. No one may steal from anyone.

6. If you take the life or liberty of an animal, be as humane as possible. Environmental damage is inevitable, but do not destroy nature more than is necessary.

7. Set up courts of justice to enforce these laws and act as a government.
Sub-Laws (Under Construction)

Law Governing Gods
1.1 No monotheism; God cannot be one.
1.2 No bitheism; the gods cannot be two.
1.3 The gods must be three or more.
1.4 No religion that would be considered shituf by a Noahide court, so no intermediate between monotheism or monism and polytheism. No soft polytheism, no polymonism.
1.5 If the religion distinguishes between creator and non-creator deities, there must still be multiple creator deities, not just one.
1.6 No laws outlawing agnosticism or atheism.
1.7 No anti-sorcery laws.

Law Governing Blasphemy Laws (No Anti-Blasphemy)
2.1 The government may not pass any law limiting the freedom to blaspheme any god.
2.2 The government shall critique all belief systems in regard to their conformity with Secular Paganism and their logical, rational, ethical, and practical legitimacy; thus, through criticism, the government will blaspheme all religions, pagan and non-pagan.
2.3 A citizen accused of monotheism or bitheism can escape punishment by blaspheming the monotheistic or bitheistic god they are accused of worshiping.
2.4 It is illegal for any cult or individual to promote banning blasphemy.

Law Governing Consensual Human Sex and Reproduction
3.1 The government may not pass any law regulating sex between consenting adult humans.
3.2 No rape.
3.3 The government must require each married couple to sign a marriage contract before marriage stipulating grounds for divorce. If the couple lists adultery as grounds for divorce, then the adulterer can be found at fault in a divorce.
3.4 No limit to the number of spouses one can marry.
3.5 No limit to the gender one can marry.
3.6 The legal age of marriage and sexual adulthood is 18; sexual activity and marriage between adults over 18 and non-adults under 18 are prohibited.
3.7 Prostitution and pornography are protected by law.
3.8 The government should seek to find any and all methods—social and scientific—to maintain a high rate of reproduction despite sexual liberation. The goal and duty of the government is to at least double the population every generation.
3.9 No bestiality.
3.10 No male or female child circumcision.

No Murder
4.1 No one may murder anyone.
4.2 Unwilling human sacrifice counts as murder.
4.3 Death in declared war is not murder.

No Theft
5.1 No one may steal from anyone.
5.2 No slander or libel (stealing someone’s reputation).
5.3 No kidnapping.

Animal and Environmental Welfare
6.1 If you take the life or liberty of an animal, be as humane as possible.
6.2 Do not eat animals alive or tear their flesh while they are still living.
6.3 No kosher or halal slaughter.
6.4 Keep some natural land for animals to use and live in.
6.5 Don’t destroy the environment more than you need to.
6.6 Find ways to reduce pollution and environmental disturbance.

Command to Set Up Court-Governments
7.1 Set up courts of justice to enforce these laws and act as a government.
7.2 The court-government must create punishments for breaking any of the laws of Secular Paganism. The punishment must be strong enough to deter people from committing crimes, and the court can always decide in any case to hand out the death penalty.
7.3 For the crimes of monotheism, bitheism, or soft polytheism (shituf), or promoting anti-blasphemy, it takes three witnesses to be prosecuted. If there is further evidence, sex crimes take one witness, and a victim can be a witness; if there is no other evidence, it takes two witnesses for a sex crime, and a victim can serve as a witness. For murder or theft, it can take one credible witness if there is further evidence; if there is no further evidence, it takes two witnesses to be tried for murder or theft. Animal cruelty and environmental destruction take two witnesses. Societies that do not set up court-governments are warred upon in any way possible, physically or otherwise.

1 comment:

  1. Secular Paganism will not succeed because of its low standards of sexual morality which Vincent Bruno refuses to acknowledge is too low to ensure that most parents are married parents properly invested in the parenting of their children.
